Kopeysk relies on WaldrichSiegen machines

The JSC “Kopeysk Machine-Building Plant”, located near Chelyabinsk, is Russia's largest manufacturer of mining machines. The company produces mining and processing plants which are used for the underground extraction of coal, ores and rock salt. The company relies entirely on machines from WaldrichSiegen to completely modernize their large mechanical parts production.

Two ProfiMill compact with 79 kW milling power, one machine in gantry and one in double table version, and six boring mills of the PR series with 162 or 180 mm boring spindle diameters offer the company a tailor-made complete solution from a single source. Kopeysk has a clear goal: to continuously increase their capacity and quality.

Thanks to an already existing customer contact and three existing boring mills, Kopeysk was familiar with the quality of the HerkulesGroup machines. For the customer, the flexibility in customer-specific machine design and the use of common parts for cost-effective spare parts stocking were important.
